...what happened in Minnesota today.

It's October 25, Halloween is still over 5 days away, and it snowed. Nothing stuck, mind you, but it snowed before Halloween again this year.

Hooray for freezing weather! Reminds me to take care of a couple things before winter really hits.

The weather in my area has been really weird too, we actually talked about it in the weather class I'm taking but I forgot the correct terms for what's going on. It's basically a huge cold front.

It's just warm enough not to snow now. The forecast was 80+ degrees Thursday and snow starting Saturday for a long time.

In Minneapolis MN on Veteran's Day during church it snowed for about 20-30 minutesand the snow reached the ground but did not survive the landing.

Last night it snowed again and stuck. ITs 14F this morning (that's -10C). Y'all enjoy the habitable parts of the earth!

We somehow got a good luck streak here. It's been around 60F the past few days

Its still snowing. Its nearly noon. The temperature is all the way up to 24F (-5C). Give us back our heat.

Actually I love the snow, its pure water, clean, fresh,... And when it lands its still dry unlike rain which is,... messy...

The cold does make arthritis hurt more,...

I love this time of year

Interesting how winter works; it got all the way up to 32F (0C) today and we wer out with coats unzipped and no gloves saying, "wow, its a nice day today!"

Just think - only 4-5 months left.

Shame really,...

Actually all the snow melted today. We had snow cover, but it wasn't complete or very thick and today its nearly 40F (5C).

Now, it still might snow-over again by Thanksgiving. We can have our big-deal Thanksgiving on the 4th floor and look out at the snow covered city from the heated pool after dinner,... Two years ago we had permanent snow cover for Halloween. Strangely, I'm actually encouraging it...

It started snowing a litle last night, and I woke up to snow on the ground today!

We had snow on and off all Thanksgiving day and night and there is still partial snow cover, its supposed to snow again today, and the temperature is 17F (-7C). It finaly feels like winter! The weather report says the low tonight is supposed to higher than the temp right now. I think He's off a little...

We'll see how I feel if the snow starts to actually pile up like it did year before last...

I'm actually jealous lol...It's 80 degrees and we just put up our Christmas tree. I'm drinking Nesquik because it seemed weird to drink hot cocoa. COME ON WINTER!

On the 5th of December (after everything had melted) we got enough snow to cover everything again. All of the roofs had melted on the east side as of yesterday.

LAst nigt it started snowing again. It is still snowing. They are predicting 8-15 inches this time. Winter may actually be here now!

Temp is 32F which may make for some slush... Good thing there is Guild Wars!

We've had rain here, we're hoping for snow Tuesday.

I know this is off topic but I want to make sure you guys know that I have not been on because I have been busy preparing for finals and doing papers and at work and such. I should be on after finals week (this week) at least a few times, even though I'll still be pretty busy. I really hope I can get on soon, I miss you guys.

Sounds great, I'm definitely looking forward to it! I don't remember how long my break is, these final tests have been a bit overwhelming. I'm going to have to try and take less credit hours next semester to get some time to myself and to hang out with you guys. I don't want school work to completely dominate my life like it did this semester. I only have three final exams left, and I plan on taking them Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. After that I'll have some family functions and be spending a couple days on the road for a few concerts. I'll try to pop in as soon as I have a few spare hours.

You get to determine what days your finals are on?

Oh no, I said that because the one that I plan on taking Wednesday can be changed. That exam is online. We are allotted four hours to take it, so long as we have it done by noon Thursday. I want to take it Wednesday so it's not the same day as the others.

We've been sort of MIA too - this little tiny thing takes up so much energy!

It seems that we are finally through with all this weak-wimp fall weather we've been having and winter may actually arrive. We've had snow cover all last week but it only snowed twice, and weak snow at that. Well, its 6F (-15C) this morning, and we have snow predicted starting Friday and everyday through the end of next week.
