CONGRATULATIONS, BARON ACAWW

Baron Acaww is our first officer accession since the launch of GW2. He comes to us with no GW1 experience, meaning he will bring an entirely new perspective to the guild.

Due to account security problems, Acaww has been temporarily reduced to Knight in game.

Account security? I keep hearing more and more stuff about that with GW2.

I haven't had problems with security as far as I know but it's freaking me out that I'm getting mail every time I log on about gold selling websites.

Blondie is getting that as well. I am not. I would imagine it is like being the victim of some spam emails: wrong place wrong time.

May be that those perpetrating the mailings have put together a list of player names and I am just lucky enough to not have been seen while they were writing them all down.

When the issues of account security began being reported with greater frequency on the Anet pages I decided to change my password and require email confirmation of every new IP address trying to access my account either on their website or through game logins. When i logged into their site from my phone I had to confirm through my email that it was me trying to access it.

Hopefully Acaww will get his issues sorted out quickly and he can get back to killing.
