archived: HOMEWORLD CHANGE to Frazar Lake for BWE2

GW2 Beta Weekend 2 has seen the launch of a new set of homeworlds effectively doubling the number of Worlds.

In and effort to make a clean break from the past and find a potentially less populated and congested server the HERO guild will be moving to the Frazar Lake homeworld.

"If this is your first Beta Weekend Event, you’ll have the opportunity to pick any available server, or home world, when you log in for the first time. If you choose a home world that is in a different region from where you purchased your game, you will be logged out for a short period of time while your account is moved to your new region. All of the characters you create will play on whichever home world you select, and they’ll fight for that world in our World vs. World format.
If you played in our first Beta Weekend Event, you will already have an existing home world. We’ll have a lot more players participating in this second beta, so you may want to change your home world so you can play together with your friends. Good news, everyone! World transfers will be free of charge on June 8 from Noon PDT (GMT -7) until 6PM PDT (GMT -7) on June 9. After this point, a world transfer will cost 1800 gems with a limit of one transfer every 7 days."

The up-shot of this is that any European players who join HERO and want to play with us on the same server can. GOOD NEWS!

Yeah, though i wonder how many European players would want to sacrifice good latency for an organization.

Tested and confirmed. A GW2 player CAN join a guild whose general membership resides on another server or homeworld. I have not personally confirmed that a player in another REGION can join a guild housed on a US server but third party report is yes you can.

- If you chose to play on a server other than Frazar Lake homeworld you will be unable to participate in WVWVW battles with other HERO members, but you will be able to represent our guild on your own server and play in PVE with HERO members through "Guesting".
