I only have an overkill of eight thousand something, so I had the same question, but have been acting under the assumption that she used an elementalist skill (which would logically do more damage than a necromancer skill, because necromancers are more condition based) on something like a rabbit.

Elementalist attuned to water and I used the ice spike (I think it was skill #2) on a rabbit and got 9k, and then on a spider it gave me the 10k.

When I could manage to stay alive, the ele was a ton of fun...but they're definitely a squishy.

I think I hold the new Master of Overkill title for HERO. On the right it say 33,964 damage in one hit, and I did it against a level 38 Barracuda.

I need to level up my ele, and then it's on hahaha

Blondie did hers in normal travels against an unrated white varmint, and I did mine against a combatant fish, but both were with skills we normally carry and use in day-to-day stuff. Nice try...

game doesnt differentiate though so theres no way to know =P. my B52 v. white crab strategy is perfectly legitimate lol.

In all honesty I dont understand how we achieve some of these big numbers because as I smack a badguy with a weapon I have never gone above like 15k on a white monster, let alone a real enemy.

I think ill stick to BBQing monsters, its very satisfying lol

My absolute favorite is when you kill a monster with a skill and they fall in a predictable way. like when your necro hit the guy with a flying hand and he spun sideways like it had just smacked him in the face. or when you electrocute a guy and he floats up and buzzes lol

I did not see my flying hand thing. Probably too busy running away... I do like the electro buzz thing.

I think the best part is that someone somewhere at Arena-Net took the time to put all of these little things that we love into the game for us
