A Hitchhiker's Guide...

Dear Dad: I arrived here on earth safely and will communicate again when I have settled in. First order of business is to find lodging. Would you believe that these people actually sleep lying down?? What odd behavior. Please say hello to all the family and say that I am well. Love, Serene Robyn

Success! I found a lovely "treehouse." You can see it behind me. The first thing I did after finding lodging was to go shopping and buy this outfit. They have a better marketing system than we do. Most of their stores sell one thing, like clothes or food or fuel. They do have a few that sell many different types of consumables, though. They call it "one stop shopping."

I have met some very interesting and colorful characters. Some seem to take animal or insect names to honor the other inhabitants of this planet, I suppose. One is named "Blondie," though I haven't seen one, so I don't know if it is an animal or insect. Will let you know when I find out.

Things are going well, and I am looking forward to exploring more of this very interesting world. Hope all is going well at home. My love to all the family. Serene Robyn
