Chaoticus' World vs World

Post by Chaoticus on Fri Feb 01, 2013 6:17 pm

First off thank you for reading my post. I'd like to talk for just a moment on what I would like the guild to participate in. In World vs World there are a few things that I believe to be very beneficial to our guild such as Capturing a Tower or a Keep and so on. Each base brings us certain perks. Especially for those who are actively playing in WvW. I realize now that as we play against the realms of Sanctum of Rall and Tarnished Coast we are kinda being dragged around. But after the realms switch I would like to have an active guild group to help out capturing and keeping our bases. A quick tip for players....Stay with others!!!! Do not try and be a hero by yourself because everyone else is with a Commander. And there will be a lot of people. SO hinto facto you might want to stick with our commanders. You will see them on your map, Anyway the point is I need more guild members so we can gain more influence. During active play in WvW there are many events such as capturing a base or defending it. There are however Rally Points that are located throughout the maps. It is fairly easy to defeat the veteran there by yourself and claim that spot. Each event does help us. And you do get Experience, Karma and some coins for every event. Please send me a message in game or let me know on Mumble if you are interested in conquering the other worlds with Knights of the Realm. I look forward to hearing from you eager killers. And if you have any other suggestions please let me know.

I am very eager when my schedule and the baby will allow my participation. I was able to bash around the other night briefly on my lvl 30 mesmer and leveled up once while there. Though being scaled up to 80 doesnt really make up for having a geared level 80 character so I may stick to my guardian for the time being.

WvW is tuns of fun, but can be hard on slower PC's which may limit some of the participation from forum active HERO members. Be sure to make requests of people in game as well when your out there, I think I saw Kushira join me in WvW briefly the other night as well.

Thanks for making an effort to build our activities!

I am interested too. You will have to give me 5 minutes notice so i can psych myself up, tho. afraid From what I understand, it's like a zerg and I have participated in many of those. So..... count me in.

there is nothing to stop you from just running in there and seeing how your computer handles it too. I found the WvW maps to be a little harder to run than general PVE because it is trying to render so many players information. Hopefully it will still be playable for you but thats one way to find out.

could always try to form a small group to go harrass camps and stuff, working to avoid the big ally and enemy zergs.

I play WvW pretty often too, and I think SBI is doing very well these days. There seems to be more commanders now and they are better coordinated. Just last week I killed 3-4 enemies in a 30min run, great for completing monthly/daily. Smile
See you guys there someday.

There is more WvW during the weekends and typically we will have a small skirmish group that will disrupt supply or retake recently fallen camps. I am also steadily (if slowly) working toward a WvW-tailored thief.

My ele is going to be WvW-tailored. I'm LOVING playing the dual-dagger ele in WvW (and PvE too, but my mesmer is still more fun there)
